Last night on Monday Night Football versus the Bengals, Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier had to be carted off the field after delivering a hit to Josh Malone and going down with a frightening injury. While on the field, it appeared Shazier had lost feeling in his legs. He was subsequently taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Today, Shazier gave us somewhat of an update in his own words via Twitter.

Check it out:

While it doesn't tell us much about his condition, it's certainly a good thing to hear from the man himself.

According to the Steelers' head coach Mike Tomlin, Shazier is in "good spirits" and the Steelers issued a statement saying the linebacker "continues to improve."

We'll continue to update as we learn more about his condition.
