Todd Bowles has had better sequences than the end of the first half tonight in Buffalo.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach had allowed kicker Chase McLaughlin to attempt field goals of 50 yards (blocked) and 57 yards (made) in the first half, but with 4th-and-3 at the Bills' 41-yard line and 19 seconds before halftime, Bowles instead sent out his field goal unit and tried to draw Buffalo offsides.

When that obvious bluff didn't work, he took the delay of game penalty and punted, sending fans up in arms.

Todd Bowles has to go. There’s no way [GM Jason] Licht is watching this and isn’t pissed off with the rest of us," one fan said. "The poor time management, personnel choices, awful decision making in every area . He shoulda went with Leftwich."

"That's his signature move. He has a very serious issue with being aggressive," another fan added.

"Todd Bowles is going to end up losing his job because he has no idea how to manage a game," said Locked on Cowboys' Marcus Mosher.

"Todd Bowles needs to be arrested," a third Bucs fan stated.

You get the picture. There were a lot of tweets like this.

Bowles and the Buccaneers trail the Bills 17-10 at halftime.
