Texans vs. Broncos preview:
The Texans erased a 14-point deficit to eventually win in overtime against the Colts on Sunday night. It was a much-needed win for Brock Osweiler, who has struggled so far to prove he was worthy of a $72 million dollar contract. A win is a win, but the joy might be short-lived for Osweiler, considering some of his old teammates want to murder him this week.
The Broncos have dropped their last two games, most recently to the San Diego Chargers on Thursday without their head coach Gary Kubiak on the sidelines. The Broncos looked out of sorts offensively, accumulating over 100 total yards in penalties, and Kubiak's absence might have contributed to the team's collective discombobulation. Regardless, all of the talent is still there, and this team is still a Super Bowl contender.
The two teams last faced off in 2013, with the Broncos taking home the win, 37-13.
Texans vs. Broncos prediction:
Lamar Miller literally ran circles around the Colts defense, but that's not going to happen against a suffocating Broncos defense. Brock Osweiler will also struggle big time facing non-stop defensive pressure, and the Broncos will finally get back on track with a win after a rough two-week stretch.
