There's growing speculation that former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles could be on his way out of Philly. Despite leading the team to four playoff wins and a Super Bowl title in the last two seasons, the team is fully committed to former No. 2 overall pick Carson Wentz. Should the Eagles decide to formally cut ties with Foles though, he has a lot of options available.
According to BetDSI, nine teams have been given the best odds of landing Foles either via a trade or free agency.
The Miami Dolphins have been given the strongest odds at +200.
Miami is a reasonable pick for the top contender to land Foles. The Dolphins are poised to rebuild after finishing the 2018 season with a 7-9 record and firing head coach Adam Gase. It remains to be seen if the team will keep quarterback Ryan Tannehill as its starter.
The next three teams on the list are the Washington Redskins (+250), Jacksonville Jaguars (+350), and Denver Broncos (+400). All three of those teams have very fluid quarterback situations, with tough decisions to make for 2019.
BetDSI gives the Eagles +600 odds on retaining Foles.
The final four teams are the New York Giants (+1000), Oakland Raiders (+1500), Carolina Panthers (+2000), and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+2000). Those four teams all have quarterbacks who are either injured, regressing, unreliable, or simply on the outs with the franchise.
Suffice it to say, Foles looks poised to have a lot of teams offering him a lot of money this year.
