The final game of Wild Card Weekend ended in dramatic fashion. The Philadelphia Eagles eliminated the Chicago Bears on a missed field goal on the final play.
Philly took a 16-15 lead with less than a minute remaining on a touchdown pass from Nick Foles to Golden Tate. However, led by a strong kick return from Tarik Cohen and some timely throws by Mitch Trubisky, the Bears got in position to win the game on a Cody Parkey field goal attempt.
Parkey, a former Eagle, has had his struggles this season. In fact, he’s had an unfortunate habit of hitting the upright on his kicks.
Wouldn’t you know he did it again here? Parkey’s kick hit the left upright and the crossbar before bouncing back into the field of play.

It is going to be a rough few days coming up for Parkey, who was predictably booed coming off the field.

The Eagles move on to play the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome next Sunday.
The other NFC Divisional Round game will be the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys.
