The Bills Fired Their GM 1 Day After The Draft

Buffalo's general manager is out following the draft.

One day after the 2017 NFL Draft concluded, the Buffalo Bills are making a change in their front office.

General manager Doug Whaley has been fired.

Whaley, 44, had been the franchise's GM for the past four seasons.

Buffalo's owner released the following statement:

Whaley joined Buffalo as an assistant general manager in 2010 before getting the main job in 2013. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says the move was expected.

In four seasons under Whaley, the Bills went 30-34 and had just one winning season.
