The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reportedly made a decision on quarterback Jameis Winston heading into 2019.

Winston, the former No. 1 overall pick, was benched earlier this season in favor of backup Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The former Florida State star won the job back, though, and will reportedly keep the job heading into the 2019 season.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reports that Winston will be back with Tampa Bay in 2019.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers intend to bring back quarterback Jameis Winston as their starter for the 2019 season, league sources told ESPN.

Despite his suspension this season and some inconsistent play, the Buccaneers believe that Winston is the right man for the job and the right quarterback to get behind, according to sources.

Winston, 24, is set to make $20 million next season.

Tampa Bay reportedly doesn't believe it would be able to get anyone better than the former Seminoles' standout quarterback.

The Bucs are set to finish their season today against Atlanta.
