The NFL coaching carousel is spinning furiously. Six teams have dismissed their head coach in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, the Bucs fired Dirk Koetter and the Jets canned Todd Bowles. Today, the Cardinals fired Steve Wilks, the Dolphins let go of Adam Gase, the Broncos terminated Vance Joseph and the Bengals cut ties with Marvin Lewis.

Add on the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns, who already had openings, and a whopping eight teams need new leadership.

That is one-fourth of the league.

With Gase and Koetter's dismissal, six of the seven coaches hired before the 2016 season have been let go. Only the Eagles' Doug Pederson remains in place.

Joseph was fired after two seasons, while Wilks only got one year. Bowles got four years with the Jets and Lewis was in Cincinnati for 16 years.

Right now, it looks like no other coaches will be fired, but we're already seeing the teams on this list take steps to find their new head man.
