An old tweet from Antonio Brown is now going viral in the wake of the latest drama surrounding the Oakland Raiders star wide receiver.
Brown, who was traded from Pittsburgh to Oakland this offseason, was a no-show at Raiders practice today because he's still upset about his helmet.
The Raiders appear to be fed up.
“AB is not here today,” Raiders GM Mike Mayock said tonight. “Here’s the bottom line: He’s upset about the helmet issue. We have supported that, we appreciate that. But at this point, we’ve pretty much exhausted all avenues of relief. So from our perspective, it’s time for him to be all in or all out. We’re hoping he’s back soon. We’ve got 89 guys busting their tails. We are really excited about where this franchise is going, and we’re hoping AB is going to be a big part of it, starting Week One against Denver. End of story, no questions.”
For now, it appears Brown is out.
Which brings us to the following tweet:
Well, Brown certainly isn't working right now - at least for the Raiders.
Oakland is a couple of weeks away from beginning its 2019 regular season and, at the moment, Brown is nowhere to be seen.
We'll see if that changes anytime soon.
