Titans vs. Chiefs preview:

Don't look now, but the Titan have a chance to win the AFC South and make the playoffs this year for the first time since 2008. They're currently tied for first in the division with the Texans, and the two teams play each other in the final week of the season. Last week the Titans turned a major corner and beat the Denver Broncos 13-10, scoring all 13 points in the first half, somehow managing to hold off the Broncos for the rest of the game. The Broncos have been in a funk recently, but it says a lot about the Titans that they were able to pull out a win.

The Chiefs are rolling right now. They've won their last three games, against the Broncos, Falcons and Raiders. All pretty good teams! They're in full control of the AFC West, and own the tiebreaker with the Raiders after beating them last Thursday. Their key to success? Defense, defense, defense. The Chiefs are stifling opponents on the ground and terrorizing quarterbacks each and every play.

Titans vs. Chiefs prediction:

Despite all the recent success for the Titans, it's difficult to pick them in an away game against Kansas City. The Chiefs are really, really good this year, and I think they take care of business in Arrowhead. The Titans will hang in there, but the Chiefs will pull away in the fourth quarter.

Chiefs 21, Titans 13
