The Las Vegas Raiders will start their offseason without Jimmy Garoppolo, leading fans to wonder if Tom Brady has another comeback in the works.

Garoppolo underwent foot surgery right after signing with the Raiders in March. Per Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the quarterback isn't cleared to practice and could remain sidelined through training camp.

The Raiders revealed this news on the same week Brady reached an agreement to join the organization's ownership group, pending league approval. Whether serious or not, fans began speculating on Garoppolo's former New England Patriots teammate returning one more time.

"All part of his master plan," a fan said with a GIF of Brady.

"Is Tom Brady available for OTAs? He needs to be acclimated with his new teammates & playbook too," another fan declared.

"Tom Brady starting by Week 7," a fan predicted.

"Brady Week 1 starter," another fan claimed.

However, Bonsignore added that the Raiders always expected this timetable. Garoppolo hasn't experienced any setbacks and is still expected to be ready to start the 2023 season.

Meanwhile, Brady swore he was retiring for good. After ending his playing career, he's gotten into business with Mark Davis by purchasing a stake in the Raiders and WNBA's Las Vegas Aces.

There's no indication of this relationship involving any avenue for the 45-year-old to come out of retirement for his 24th season. Yet fans don't want to believe Brady's legendary career is truly over.
