Tyrann Mathieu Signs With New Team

Tyrann Mathieu appears on television.

The 2018 NFL offseason has been one of the most-active in recent memory. Top free agent quarterbacks exchanged hands like baseball cards in the school yard.

One top, non-quarterback, free agent has just landed in a new home. After a relatively surprising release, Tyrann Mathieu is heading to Houston to join Jadeveon Clowney, J.J. Watt, and Deshaun Watson with the Texans.

According to Adam Schefter, Mathieu signed a one-year deal to play in Houton.

Not long ago, he inked a new deal with the Arizona Cardinals, but with Arizona seemingly in rebuild mode, the team decided to release the honey badger.

Mathieu in Romeo Crennel's defense should be fun to watch. And so will the Texans with a healthy Deshaun Watson under center.
