Last season, Patrick Mahomes ran away with the NFL MVP award as he led the Kansas City Chiefs to the AFC Championship. He’ll have to put together another incredible year to win it once again, but he’ll certainly be among the favorites.
With training camp underway, Vegas betting odds have been released for this year’s MVP award.
Mahomes is the clear-cut favorite to win MVP, which really shouldn’t serve as much of a surprise. Behind him on the list of favorites is Andrew Luck, who won Comeback Player of the Year in 2018.
Aaron Rodgers and Carson Wentz come in with the third and fourth-best odds, respectively.
There are also a few value bets from Vegas, such as Drew Brees, Russell Wilson and Tom Brady. Another quarterback rising up the ranks is Baker Mayfield, as the second-year player has 12-1 odds.
Here is a quick recap of the top odds to win NFL MVP:

If all goes well for Mahomes and the Chiefs, then he’ll most likely be the front-runner to take home the hardware.
Unfortunately, the only players with great odds to win MVP are quarterbacks. Perhaps, Aaron Donald or Khalil Mack could enter the race if either of them have a record-breaking season.
Do you think Mahomes will win MVP again?
