ESPN NFL analyst Jason Witten did not have a great performance during this year's Pro Bowl broadcast.
First, the former Dallas Cowboys' star made an embarrassing mistake while discussing Indianapolis Colts' tight end Eric Ebron. He apparently thought Ebron had been on the Kansas City Chiefs. Witten said he "was his [Mahomes’] guy all year.”
Now, Witten had a tough moment during the Pro Bowl trophy ceremony.
The ESPN analyst kind of broke the trophy...
To be fair to Witten, that trophy seems like it was meant to be broken if it's going to fall apart so easily.
The reaction from the game's MVPs, Jamal Adams and Patrick Mahomes, was pretty great.
The AFC won this year's Pro Bowl, taking down the NFC, 26-7.
Mahomes had the best offensive performance of the day, completing 7 of 14 passes for 156 yards and one touchdown.
Adams, meanwhile, was dominant on the defensive side of the ball.
Hopefully the NFL can get a sturdier trophy for next year's game (or, maybe, just cancel the game all together).
