The NFL draft sits just over 24 hours away. As NFL teams finalize their draft boards, they'll look at all possible information to make an informed decision - including what happened at the NFL combine.

A major part of the NFL combine and pro days is the 40-yard dash.

This year, Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf set the NFL world ablaze with his impressive 4.33 40-yard dash - at 6-foot-3, 228 pounds. With the blazing 40-time, it appeared Metcalf solidified his first-round draft stock.

One person who won't be going in the first round of the NFL draft is sports business insider Darren Rovell.

Ahead of the NFL draft, Rovell ran the 20-yard dash - that's right, 20, not 40.

It's safe to say NFL teams won't be bringing him in for an interview.

Here's his 20-yard dash.

Rovell completed the event in 4.04 seconds, nearly as long as it took Metcalf to run a full 40 yards.

Of course, the two are competing in two very different industries, and there's no reason Rovell needs to be able to run a fast 40-yard dash.

He'll settle for breaking major sports news instead.

The NFL draft kicks off tomorrow night from Nashville. The first round is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. ET.
