Football is back. Although it's just the preseason, the NFL returned to action in early August and there have already been plenty of story lines to follow.
Injuries have ruled the start to preseason, but there are positives to take from the first few weeks of camp as well. Among them is the play by the rookies from this year's draft.
Quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold shined, as did running back Saquon Barkley. The first three picks in the draft look legit.
So too, does a wide receiver from the second round. Former Oklahoma State star James Washington is fighting to make the 53-man roster for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Washington caught a touchdown pass from Josh Dobbs midway through the third quarter. Check it out.
If he keeps doing what he did tonight, he'll be a regular in the rotation.
Washington picked up where he left off in college. The former Cowboy won the Biletnikoff Award in 2017, given to the nation's best wide receiver.
