The Minnesota Vikings became the NFL’s most-disappointing team of the 2018 season today, getting eliminated from the NFL postseason race with a loss to the Chicago Bears.
It was a brutal day for the Vikings’ passing game.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins completed 20 of 33 passes for 132 yards and 1 touchdown, with about 40 of those yards coming of the final drive of the game.
The team’s star wide receivers, Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, had 11 combined catches for 85 yards and 1 touchdown.
Frustration was boiling over late in the loss.
Video showed Cousins getting into it with his receivers on the bench, telling them they were taking too long with their routes.
