We're five days away from the Reese's Senior Bowl, where many of college football's greatest seniors will put their talents on display yet again for NFL scouts. Professional teams thoroughly evaluate all of the players in attendance, and the week before the game serves as almost an early version of the NFL Combine. This morning, all players participated in weigh-ins to give scouts official height and weight information, and let's just say the process is quite awkward (video via Matt Miller):
It's kind of sad that the players have to strip down and get measured in front of an auditorium full of scouts -- that's how seriously GMs take these measurements before the draft. I guess the players can "get over" the fact that they are being objectified as soon as they receive that first check, if they're lucky.
