The Packers and Vikings put together one of the best games of the season so far, but neither NFC North squad could pull out a win in overtime.
Following an impressive drive from Kirk Cousins, Minnesota had the chance to improve to 2-0, as the fate of the game relied on the right foot of Daniel Carlson.
Even though he missed two field goal attempts earlier in the game, the rookie kicker could still redeem himself with a 35-yard field goal.
Unfortunately for the Vikings, the third time wasn't the charm.
With the game on the line, Carlson missed, leaving both teams with a dissatisfying tie.
Minnesota invested a fifth-round pick in Carlson, as the talented kicker from Auburn flashed potential in college. However, that doesn't change the fact that he squandered the chance for a victory at Lambeau Field.
Well, Carlson will have to prove himself next week, when the Vikings host the Bills.
