Watch: Baker Mayfield Threw His First Interception Last Night

On Thursday night, the Philadelphia Eagles traveled to Cleveland to take on the Browns. In the end, Cleveland walked out with a 5-0 win thanks to a safety from Myles Garrett and a 54-yard field goal from Zane Gonzalez.

One of the hottest debates in the NFL surrounds the Browns' quarterback situation. Hue Jackson has maintained that two-time Pro-Bowl selection Tyrod Taylor will be the team's starter Week 1.

Don't tell that to Baker Mayfield. Although he hasn't seen reps with the first team, the former Oklahoma star was solid in his first two preseason games.

He suffered a slight setback against the Eagles. Mayfield threw his first interception during an NFL game on Thursday night - but it might not have been all his fault.

Check it out.

Mayfield's wide receiver gets bumped, which cuts off his route and leads to the interception.

Baker was sharp otherwise, completing 8-of-12 passes for 76 yards. The reigning Heisman Trophy-winner saw limited reps with the first team after Tyrod Taylor exited briefly with a hand injury.

He'll have to continue the fight with Taylor for the starting role. Cleveland opens the regular season against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
