Former Alabama QB Blake Barnett Announces Arizona State Commitment

Alabama quarterback transfer Blake Barnett has found a new home.

Barnett has committed to Arizona State, he announced on Twitter Monday night. It looks like he made it official during an in-home visit with ASU head coach Todd Graham, offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey and wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator Jay Norvell.

Today is Graham's birthday., hence the cake.

Barnett transferred from Alabama in September and enrolled at Palomar Junior College in California shortly thereafter. He did so because of his desire to play next season without sitting out the entire year.

Barnett also reportedly visited Oregon and Washington State and had interest from a number of other schools. He began the year as Alabama's starting quarterback before being replaced by freshman sensation Jalen Hurts.

Barnett completed 11-of-19 passes for 219 yards and a pair of touchdowns in three games for 'Bama.
