James Harden Takes Shot At Former Teammate Kevin Durant In Open Letter To Rockets Fans

Once upon a time, Kevin Durant and James Harden were teammates on an Oklahoma City team that reached the NBA Finals. A lot has changed in a few short years.

Harden, after that run in 2011-2012, left the franchise to play for the Houston Rockets. Durant, as-of last week, is now a member of the loaded Golden State Warriors. Clearly, they aren't on the same page when it comes to how they want to win titles.

Monday, Harden issued a statement to Houston's fans - taking a shot at Durant in the process. Harden admitted that the Rockets aren't a "super-team" - adding that they're just a "group of guys that want to work hard to be the very best." Ouch.

Durant's move has been criticized by many, but considering the two used to play together, this one probably hurts a little more. Regardless, we're pretty sure the Rockets won't be challenging the Warriors for Western Conference supremacy any time soon.
