Arizona Confirms LB Scooby Wright To Miss 3-To-4 Weeks After Having Knee Scoped
Arizona's star LB Scooby Wright suffered a left knee injury in the Wildcats' season-opening win against Texas-San Antonio on Thursday. Initial reports said he tore his lateral meniscus and would be out "2-3 weeks" after having his knee scoped.
Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez essentially confirmed the reported timeline when speaking with the media today.

This is good news for all parties. It seems like Wright will at least miss Arizona's next three games and could possibly return as early as Oct. 3 against Stanford or Oct. 10 against Oregon State. Either way, he avoids a serious injury.
