Arizona's Director Of Athletics Confident That Rich Rodriguez Will Stay

He's been rumored as a candidate at Louisville.

The BCS National Championship Game hasn't even kicked off yet, but the college football coaching carousel is already in full swing. The newest highly-coveted job available? That'd be Louisville, which lost its coach, Charlie Strong, to Texas over the weekend. According to reports, the school will make a hard push on current Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez.

In what has to be considered a very bold move, Wildcats AD Greg Byrne took to Twitter to publicly express his confidence on retaining Rodriguez.

Byrne and Rodriguez have reportedly always had a great relationship, so it's easy to see why he believes his coach will stick around. But what if Louisville comes in with a huge offer? We'll see how this shakes out soon enough.
