ESPN: Arizona Has The 'Most Miserable' Fan Base In The Pac-12

These Pac-12 fans aren't happy, according to the Worldwide Leader.

ESPN has come up with a "Fan Happiness Index" (FHI) heading into the 2017 season.

Using six metrics (Program power, rivalry dominance, coaching stability, recruiting trend, revenue growth and Twitter buzz), ESPN has ranked every Division I program from 1-128.

According to ESPN, Arizona fans are the 'most miserable' in the Pac-12. In fact, the Wildcats have one of the most unhappy fan bases in all of Division I, checking in at No. 116 out of 128 teams.

The FHI categorizes Arizona fans as "distraught" and adds that "Rich Rodriguez is clearly cramping Arizona fans' style. With just three wins last year, he might not have much time left in Tucson."

The Wildcats were in the Fiesta Bowl as recently as 2014, and made bowl games in each of Rodriguez's first four years at the helm. However, they are coming off a miserable 3-9 season.
