Former Arizona Star Sean Rooks Has Passed Away

Former Arizona star Sean Rooks has tragically passed away at the age of 46. The center, who played for seven NBA teams from 1992-2004, was most recently an assistant coach with the Philadelphia 76ers. The Undefeated's Marc Spears first reported on Rooks' tragic passing.

Arizona director of athletics Greg Byrne and Rooks' coach Lute Olson released a statement after the news broke.

Rooks starred at Arizona from 1988-1992, averaging 11.6 points per game during his career. As a senior, he scored 16.3 points and grabbed 6.9 rebounds per game. Our thoughts go out to his family, and everyone affected by this sad news.
