Another week, another new set of uniforms for a college football team. This time it's the Arizona Wildcats, sporting a fresh look from Nike that is sure to have mixed reviews.
The school unveiled the uniforms via a YouTube video and its Instagram account. While they aren't terrible, I do wonder why they went with a fade in/out color scheme for the numbers. Personally, I think it would look cleaner if they'd just chosen one solid color or another.
The school had this to say about the release:
"Nike, Arizona's long-standing apparel and footwear provider, partnered with the program to create a new look for the team. The updated jerseys feature ombre jersey numbers in the school's traditional Cardinal, Navy and White. Nike has produced jerseys and pants in all three of those colors to suit various uniform combinations, complemented by Cardinal, Navy, White and Copper helmets."
