Rich Rodriguez Sends Snarky Tweet About Proposed Pace-Of-Play Rule From Golf Course

Rich Rodriguez has been extremely outspoken against the proposed college football rule that would slow down the pace-of-play, effectively ending true hurry-up offenses. On Sunday evening, while playing a round of golf, Rodriguez took to Twitter to send out a tweet reaffirming his stance on the hot-button issue, in response to proponents of the rule like Arkansas' Bret Bielema who have cited player safety as a reason to slow down the sport.

It looks like Rodriguez may have taken some inspiration from Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost, who made a similar joke about the proposed rule change a week earlier. Arizona and Oregon feature two of the fastest offenses in the country, so its no surprise that their coaches want this rule change shot down.
