What Seed Did Arizona Get In The 2014 NCAA Tournament?

Seed: For the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament, the Arizona Wildcats were given a 1-seed in the West-region. They are coached by Sean Miller and hail from the Pac-12.

You can view the entire 2014 NCAA Tournament field here in our official bracket.

Where: They will open play against Weber State in San Diego on Friday.

Why: Arizona won the Pac-12 outright with a 15-3 conference record and a 28-3 record overall. The Wildcats picked up big wins over UCLA, Oregon, Duke, San Diego State, and Michigan.

Ceiling: There was some concern that Arizona would flame out after losing their No. 1 ranking and third-leading scorer Brandon Ashley to injury, but the Wildcats have adjusted, and look like a force heading into the tournament. Even without Ashley, Arizona has a bevy of talented players, and absolutely have the talent to win a National Championship this season.
