Joel Klatt Says Colorado Will Be 'Dark Horse' Team In Big 12
Joel Klatt is a big fan of Colorado heading into the 2024 college football season.
The Fox Sports college football analyst thinks Colorado will win nine games this season after only winning four last year.
"I would be insane to not put Colorado in there as a dark horse for the Big 12," Klatt said. "They're really talented. They might have the best quarterback in the entire league and their skill position players are insanely talented. This is a team that went from one win to four, where it really threw away a couple of other wins. Should've been a bowl team last year and everybody's like, 'Well, can they go to a bowl?' Can they go to a bowl? What are you talking about? I think this is an eight-or-nine-win team."
Klatt thinks that could put Colorado in the conversation to make the Big 12 Championship Game if everything goes well.
The 2024 season will be the second for Deion Sanders as head coach of the Buffaloes. He's obviously fired up to get this thing going.
With Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter back in the fold, they can be a dangerous team for each opponent they face.
The Buffaloes' first game will be on August 29 against North Dakota State.
