It wasn’t a great season for Colorado football. The once-prestigious Buffaloes went 2-10 during the second year of head coach Mike MacIntyre’s tenure, which makes this the ninth straight year that the team failed to finish the season with a record better than .500. However, there are still reasons to be optimistic that Colorado is building towards something in the future. Sophomore QB Sefo Liufau threw for 3,200 yards and 28 touchdowns, wide receiver Nelson Spruce is a star in the making, and running backs Christian Powell and Michael Adkins II may end up being a really nice backfield duo in the future.
While there weren’t many of them, relive some of the bright spots from Colorado’s 2014 campaign with this fantastic video released by the school. It also gives you a look into how close the players on the team are. Check it out:
While Colorado likely won’t win a national championship any time soon, you can tell that this is a close team that is playing for each other and really wants to start winning games in the future. Maybe better days are on the horizon in Boulder.
