Cal DL Mustafa Jalil Brought Roast Duck To Locker Room Yesterday In Anticipation Of Game Vs. Oregon

Cal takes on Oregon in a battle of 5-3 teams this Saturday. It's a pivotal game for both teams, and Cal DL Mustafa Jalil is trying to set the tone.

On Tuesday, Jalil brought in a plate of roast duck --Oregon's mascot is a duck, of course -- and proclaimed he was "getting the feast started."

Cal beat writer Jeff Faraudo has the details.

"It's 100 percent Duck. We're not joking about this one," Jalil said. "Why not get the feast started?" "That's Moose," shrugged Cal coach Sonny Dykes when told about the senior lineman's stunt. "I don't really like duck myself."

That duck looks absolutely delicious. A victory over Oregon will taste sweet for the Bears but that duck might taste better.
