Calabasas (Calif.) four-star wide receiver Johnny Wilson owns nearly 40 scholarship offers. Today, he chose one of them.
The top-50 prospect announced his commitment to Oregon moments ago, choosing the Ducks over UCLA, Washington, Texas and others.
“I would like to completely shut down my recruitment–focus 100 percent on my senior year and commit to the University of Oregon,” Wilson wrote on Twitter. “My family and I am beyond excited to be a part of the Duck Family!”

Wilson is the No. 5 rising senior in California and the No. 6 wide receiver in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. Overall, he is the No. 43 prospect in the 2020 cycle.
After landing a top-10 class in 2019, Oregon football is on a roll for 2020. The Ducks have the No. 1 class in the Pac-12 and the No. 12 overall class in the country.
