MiKyle McIntosh, a standout for the Illinois State Redbirds last season, is visiting the Oregon Ducks today, according to college basketball insider Jon Rothstein.
McIntosh averaged 12.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Redbirds, who went 28-7 last year, and entered his name into the NBA Draft. He did not hire an agent and took himself out of the draft, but is now looking to transfer to a bigger program for his final season.
The 6-foot-7 forward is reportedly in Eugene today.
As Rothstein notes, he has also taken a trip to Oklahoma. Earlier this month, McIntosh was spotted at an Oregon State baseball game with head coach Wayne Tinkle. It is unclear if other teams are involved in his transfer at this time, but he is definitely one of the more interesting frontcourt players still available for teams looking to add graduate transfers.
McIntosh is listed at 6-foot-7, 234 pounds. He is a native of Pickering, Ontario.
