Oregon Football: Issac Remington Still Suspended

Will he be back against Colorado?

Issac Remington, the Oregon Ducks starting senior defensive tackle, is still suspended after an incident that took place on October 12th in Eugene. Last week, Remington missed the ASU game due to the suspension. If no new developments are to be had, he is likely to miss the Colorado game this week.

The 6-foot-6, 305-pound senior from Arizona was pulled over and was taken into custody after suspicion of driving under the influence. According to OregonLive:

" Sources with knowledge of the situation said Remington passed a field sobriety test, and a breathalyzer test revealed Remington's blood-alcohol content to be .06. The legal limit is .08. In Oregon, police can arrest a person on a DUII charge if they deem the person to be impaired, even if the person's blood-alcohol content is below .08."

While mistakes were made, we hope that Remington can make it back into the lineup as soon as possible. Although if he cannot make his return this week, Arik Armestead, the freshman from Sacramento, will fill in again against Colorado.

According to OregonLive, Remington's court date is set for November 1st, two days before the USC game in Los Angeles.
