Oregon football has received a ton of praise this week. On Tuesday, the Ducks were named the fourth-best team in America in the latest rankings by the College Football Playoff selection committee. Now, according to Westgate Las Vegas, the Ducks are the favorites to win the College Football Playoff. Oregon has 9-to-2 odds to win the national championship this year, which makes it the slight favorite over Alabama (5-to-1) and Florida State (6-to-1).
Odds to Win #CFBPlayoff (Westgate LV): Oregon – 9-2 Alabama – 5-1 FSU – 6-1 MSST – 7-1 MSU – 7-1 Ole Miss – 8-1 TCU – 8-1 Auburn – 10-1

The Ducks do have a relatively easy road to navigate over the rest of the year, as the squad has one game against a ranked opponent, two games against teams with sub-.500 conference records and the Pac-12 title game. If Mark Helfrich’s team wins out, odds are it will make the Playoff at the end of the season.
Oregon will take on Utah this week in Salt Lake City. The game kicks off at 10:00 P.M. EST on Saturday, and you can watch it on ESPN.
