Oregon OC Scott Frost Takes Shot At ESPN Regarding Mariota's NFL Draft Stock

Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota has yet to declare for the upcoming NFL Draft, but that hasn't stopped football experts from comparing him to Florida State signal-caller Jameis Winston. All week long, analysts have been debating whether the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who own the first overall pick, should take Mariota or Winston. The general consensus, at least on ESPN, seems to believe that Winston is the more NFL-ready quarterback.

That apparently doesn't sit well with Ducks offensive coordinator Scott Frost. Saturday, after being asked about the perception of Mariota being a system quarterback, Frost took a little shot at the Worldwide Leader.

Only time will tell which player is more successful at the next level. Props to Frost for standing up for his guy.
