Oregon Quarterback Vernon Adams Might Not Play Saturday, "Game-Time Decision"

Oregon might be without its star quarterback Saturday against Georgia State.

Vernon Adams, the Ducks' starting quarterback who transferred into the program from Eastern Washington, has a broken right index finger. He suffered the injury in Oregon's season opener and played hurt with a cortisone shot against Michigan State last Saturday.

Adams said today he's a "game-time decision" for Saturday.

Oregon will probably be OK against Georgia State with or without Adams, but the EWU transfer is obviously extremely important to the Ducks going forward. He's totaled 555 passing yards and three touchdowns while adding 100 rushing yards and one touchdown.
