After watching over 10 hours of football on Saturday, make some coffee, keep your television on and stay on the couch to watch No. 2 Oregon play Washington State. It might not be a competitive game, but you will certainly see a lot of offense.
Plus, you might be catching a glimpse of one of the teams that will eventually be invited to play in the College Football Playoff. The Ducks have the inside track and should be the favorite to win the Pac-12 this year.

Prediction: Oregon is 3-0 and notched a huge win over Michigan State when the Spartans were ranked seventh in the nation. The Spartans looked like they had found the recipe to beating Oregon by running the ball and trying to limit the Ducks’ possessions. It worked for a half – but in the second session, Oregon scored 28 unanswered points to win easily.
Washington State lost its first two games of the season against Rutgers and Nevada. Mike Leach’s team bounced back against FCS Portland State, but it now starts a daunting conference schedule. The Cougars will need to post a winning record in-conference to become bowl eligible.
The Cougars lead the country in passing offense, throwing for 517 yards per game. But they are 126th in rushing, only averaging 40 yards per contest. Teams need to run the ball to beat Oregon, so this isn’t the best matchup for WSU. Expect Marcus Mariota to have another big day. Oregon will cover a big point spread.
