Pharaoh Brown, Oregon's star tight end, got a gift from Pac-12 refs, who missed that he dropped the football before crossing the goal line for a touchdown.

Oregon leads Arizona State at home 14-7, but instant replay shows that Oregon's first touchdown should probably not have counted.

Early in the first quarter, Ducks' quarterback Justin Herbert found Brown for a long 72-yard touchdown. Brown, like Ray-Ray McCloud, Kaelin Clay, and perhaps most famously, DeSean Jackson before him, celebrated early and lets go of the football before he crosses the goal line.

Based on video of the play, it looks pretty clear that Brown lost possession before scoring. However, the oft-reviled Pac-12 referees missed it, awarding the Ducks the score.

Arizona State answered with a 75-yard scoring drive capped by a 12 yard Kalen Ballage run, but Oregon re-took the lead on a 31-yard Herbert-to-Charles Nelson touchdown pass.

Like many Pac-12 games, Oregon-Arizona State won't be hurting for points. However, it definitely looks like there should be seven fewer on the board. Based on how disastrous this Ducks season has been to this point, we don't see them apologizing too much though.

Oregon leads Arizona State 14-7 with 6:14 remaining in the first quarter.
