Four-star big man Georgios Papagiannis, who had interest from St. John’s, Kentucky, Oregon and N.C. State, will remain in Greece and pursue a pro basketball career rather than play collegiately in the United States. This is according to multiple reports, with the news being broken by Scout.com’s Evan Daniels.

The 7-foot-1, 275-pound Papagiannis played high school basketball in Pennsylvania during the 2013-14 season before returning to his native Greece, where he’s a member of the country’s Under-19 national team. Papagiannis signed with Greek pro team Panathinaikos last month.
