Dominic Artis' Oregon career was a tumultuous one. After a promising freshman season in 2012-13 in which he averaged 8.5 points per game, Artis was suspended for nine games to begin his sophomore season, and never became a real factor once he returned to the rotation. His minutes were down from 23.8 to 16.9, and his scoring was cut in half in 2013-14.
Artis was dismissed from the program in May after an investigation into rape allegations. Now, it looks like he may look to resume his career across the country in the Big East.
Artis is a talented player, but he has serious baggage, and any team that looks to bring him in will have some serious questions to answer about his past.
