Vernon Adams Considering Returning To Oregon To Coach If NFL Doesn't Work Out

One season at Oregon might not be enough for Vernon Adams.

The Ducks' quarterback, who transferred into the program for one season from Eastern Washington, has one game remaining in his college career. Oregon is set to face TCU in the Valero Alama Bowl.

After that contest, it'll be off to the NFL for Adams. If the pros don't work out for the dual-threat quarterback, though, he's considering coming back to Oregon as a coach or graduate assistant.

Oregon clearly means a lot to Adams, despite the quarterback being at the school for less than a year. If he wants to return as a GA or assistant coach, Mark Helfrich will surely welcome him with open arms.

The Ducks and the Horned Frogs are set to kick off on Jan. 2 at 6:45 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on ESPN.
