Vernon Adams Did Not Graduate From Eastern Washington After The Spring Quarter

Former Eastern Washington quarterback Vernon Adams, who plans to suit up for Oregon as a graduate transfer this season, walked during EWU's graduation ceremony last month. However, he apparently never met the academic requirements to actually graduate from the university.

According to The Oregonian/OregonLive, EWU announced today that Adams did not graduate following the spring quarter.

Adams walked in EWU's graduation ceremony but told The Oregonian/OregonLive that he had to complete a math class with additional work in the weeks after. It appears he did not do enough.

EWU's graduation roster "reflects students who have earned their degree as of the spring quarter, 2015 at EWU," said an EWU spokesman. "Students who have not earned their diploma are not on the list."

This could spell trouble for Adams' intention to play for at UO, where he was admitted into the graduate program. If he can not complete the requisite coursework in time, however, he won't be able to follow through and enroll in Eugene.
