What Seed Did Oregon Get In The 2014 NCAA Tournament?

Seed: For the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament, the Oregon Ducks were given a 7-seed in the West-region. They are coached by Dana Altman and hail from the Pac-12.

You can view the entire 2014 NCAA Tournament field here in our official bracket.

Where: They will open play against BYU in Milwaukee on Thursday.

Why: Oregon finished the regular season with an 10-8 record in the Pac-12, finishing in a five-way tie for third place in the league. The Ducks picked up big wins against Arizona and UCLA this season.

Ceiling: The Ducks got off to a shaky start in the Pac-12, but are one of the league's hottest teams after winning their final eight regular season games. Like many other Pac-12 squads, the Ducks can score, but struggle on the defensive end. They are also very poor on the boards, ranking 200th nationally in total rebounds. If Altman can get his players to give a good effort on the defensive end, this team may find themselves in the Sweet 16, but it will probably be an uphill climb.
