Former Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey's NFL Combine jersey had a pretty pronounced spelling error.
Former Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey participated in the NFL Combine on Friday, and he did so in a jersey that had a little bit of a spelling mistake. Instead of reading "McCaffrey"—which, you know, is his name—it read "McCaffery."

Here's another angle:
I get it, his last name is kind of difficult to spell, but no one thought to give it a second look before making the jersey? C'mon guys.
So while the misspelling could've been interpreted as some kind of bad omen, it didn't really seem to matter, as the 20-year-old ran a blazing 4.49 40-yard dash anyway, unofficially.
McCaffrey is a potential first-round draft pick, and one of the top running back prospects in this year's draft.
The 6-foot, 200-pound back recorded 1,603 yards on 253 carries in his 2016 campaign. He also found the end zone 16 times, including three receiving touchdowns.
