Stanford is on the road trailing Notre Dame 31-17. The Cardinal are also waiting for injury news on their star player Bryce Love.

Love dealt with a bad left ankle in 2017. That same ankle has been aggravated tonight.

Love's ankle got rolled up on by Notre Dame defensive lineman Julian Okwara on a play moments ago. He limped off the field.

Love was later taken to the locker room.

With Stanford down by two touchdowns and eight minutes left, the Cardinal are going to have to throw the ball to get back in this one. Love might not get much work even if he comes back in.

However, if Love has to miss time beyond this game, Stanford could be in a bit of a bind.
