Stanford and UCF will battle this afternoon in one of the best non-conference games Week 3 has to offer. There will be a very special guest in attendance at Spectrum Stadium as Tiger Woods is ready to support his alma mater.
Before Woods put together a legendary golf career at the PGA level, he spent a few years at Stanford University.
Woods has viewed several Stanford games over the past few years. Most of them are home games for the Cardinal, but today, the 15-time major winner is on the road to root for his school. Luckily for the golf legend, the game is very close to his residence in Windermere, Florida, just outside Orlando.
The reigning Masters champion was seen on the sidelines for the Stanford prior to kickoff.
Stanford’s official Twitter account shared photos of Woods talking with head coach David Shaw and quarterback K.J. Costello.
Here are the photos of Woods going viral on social media:

The Cardinal are coming off a blowout loss to the USC Trojans in Week 2. To be fair, the team didn’t have Costello due to a nasty hit to the head that he suffered in the season opener.
ESPN’s College GameDay crew has UCF defeating Stanford this afternoon, but perhaps the presence of Tiger Woods will inspire the Pac-12 program to win this game.
