Top 4-Star PG Announces Commitment

One of the top point guard recruits in the country has announced his commitment. Tyrell Terry is off the board.

The 6-foot-1, 160-pound Terry, who plays for Minneapolis (Minn.) De La Salle, committed to Stanford on Sunday evening. He picked the Cardinal over offers from Indiana, Iowa State, Xavier, Baylor, Minnesota and others.

Terry is the No. 7 point guard commitment in the 2019 class. He's also the No. 81 player in the 2019 class.

Both of those ranks are according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Terry is the first verbal commitment for Stanford in the class of 2019.

He's also the fourth top-10 point guard in the class to announce a commitment.
