Olaijah Griffin, a four-star defensive back, is still committed to UCLA despite the coaching change, but he will check out some other big programs.

Griffin, the son of rapper Warren G, committed to UCLA back in July 30, long before the school moved on from former head coach Jim Mora.

He remains a Bruins commit, but his father tells 247Sports that he will take his five official visits to see other schools, and the last features some huge ones.

Griffin will check out Alabama, Michigan, Oregon, USC, and Washington before making a final decision.

"We haven't talked to Chip Kelly yet but in the meantime, Olaijah will take all five of his visits," Griffin said. "We're hoping they keep coach Meat (Demetrice Martin) on staff but with schools calling from all over, it just makes sense to take some trips and make sure of his decision.

"Olaijah has been hearing from everyone. Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, USC, ASU, TCU, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Texas A&M, Cal and a lot more all have reached out and want him to visit. The five he chose to visit are Bama, USC, Michigan, Washington and Oregon. We haven't set any dates yet but those will be his five visits."

Griffin also says that Kelly's choice for defensive coordinator, and the style the Bruins will run, are key factors in his choice.

247Sports' crystal ball voters think that he'll wind up in Los Angeles, but at the city's other power program. 80-percent of voters believe he will be a USC Trojan.
